I have a friend who is moving out of state and he has two vmax's that need to be gone.
1994 V-Max 600 with 4450 miles Red
1995 V-max Black with 1100 on the odo not sure if that is correct
They are in tough shape, they have been sitting out side for the last 3-4 years, they are run when we have snow but here in SE MN that was last nov/dec 2005 for just a couple of weeks. Both run good when fired. Cosmetially they are pretty bad, seats are shot, hoods could use paint although its wouldn't be required.
Great project sleds or fixer uppers for a young rider, like I said they both start, move and stop fairly well. Just need some minor attention on the skids and just some general maint.
What do you think they are worth? Thanks!

my rule of thumb is if its 90 and up and doesnt ahve over 5 grand on it adn runs its wroth 900-1100 unless its in mint shape like my buddies on Xt. if they are in rough shape id as a grad adn go from there. thats what id say theyre worth but getting that after a winter like this will be hard.

I would pretty much agree with the above; 1990 and up with less than 2000 miles, they are worth maybe $1,000; however, if they are cosemtically beat up; proably $800 at best each. Check NADA for values as well.

Well, I can tell you this things on ebay as far as Yamaha's are not bringing much! I watch them like a hawk too! SRX SXR Sx any vmax just do not seem to bring much! From what I have seen if they have a reserve they never reach the reserve ( I think people ask & the seller tells them, this happend to me Then they bid only close to the reserve) or it has a resonable starting bid w/ noreserve & it never gets a bid! I saw a nice 97 XT 2000 + miles starting at $1200 no bids! I had my 2002 Polaris 440 fan prox for sale cheap & high bid was like $1000 Sleds are tough to sell right now!
Thanks guys that is what he figured and he is asking $500 ea.
