SRX600hp

Does anyone know the hp on the srx 600? Was there any difference between 98 and 99?

I believe it was around 114 hp.

SRX 600 was about 120 hp...maybe 124 on a good day. 98 & 99 were exactly the same. 99 had a beefier crank. I owned a 98 & 99 600 SRX.

I believe the 98 ran a colder plug then the 99. The 98 ran a BR10ECS where as the 99 ran a BR9.

The 9ecs was a later change up on the 98,s. That was the year they were fouling a lot of plugs when initial starting the sled in cold temps. It was 90% to do with procedure but changing to the slightly hotter 9ecs plug helped.

most likley no! i had a 99 600 and ran it with empty airbox and stingers, now i have 700 cyl on the same crank.. no problems there..

If it does "stress the crank too much" dont worry, I happen to have a good 600 srx motor for cheap.
