is there a difference between viper front shocks and viper mtn front shocks as far as travel? i didn't think there was, i thought they were all the same long travel shocks, but just checking. thanks!!!

not sure on teh viper but teh MMAX shocks are shorter tehn a normal clivis shock
The mountain shocks are shorter due to the smaller ski stance. The trailing arms also have the shock mount at a different angle to accomodate the different geometry.
