Does anyone have a pic of a variflow installed on your 2001 or 2002 srx? I would like to see where you put that "dial" thing.
Thanks

Got a picture of that?
Did you have to remove the hand/thumb warmer?

no ..I mounted it on the vent plastic above your left foot and a couple of inches below the edge of the hood. Its easy to route the lines and easy to adjust on the fly. I would not own a Yammi without one.norwegian said:Got a picture of that?

Thanks, still, pics would be great, I'm thinking of doing the very same thing!

My control knob is right where Powervalve 700's servomotor is located. My old 98 has the servo mounted to the airbox. Remember Viper and SRX installs are different.norwegian said:Thanks, still, pics would be great, I'm thinking of doing the very same thing!

I like the way cacsrx1 has his vari-flow mounted. Fits good, almost makes it look like it was meant to be there. Would be easy to adjust on the fly like he said too. I had mine mounted on the front of the airbox on my '98 SRX, worked fine I guess. Just was kind of a pain to get your hand around the knob to turn it.

my boss mounted his right next to his thumb and hand warmer adjusters. looks factory there in my opinion (on a viper er) works very well on the fly too, never have to leave the seat.
Thanks cacsrx1 so far, but I have more questions if you don't mind.
When you have installed the dial thing on the plastic under the hood, won't the line/tube from the carb venting be too long for the vari-flow to function properly? (I'm sure there's nothing wrong with your installation, but I'm just asking). How long is this line/tube and how did you route it? Do you think I will be able to install that thing on my 2002 srx without having to move the servo motor? I have tried to look and it doesn't seem totally impossible but it might be a tight squeeze..
Again, thanks

CACSRX1:
Thanks again for the helpful information. I have some further questions though;
how long is your carb vent tube from the fitting to the variflow body? I see that if I am to install a variflow on the same place as on your srx, the vent tube will have to be maybe 8 inches longer than it is now, going to the tempaflow (I have a tempaflow installed on my sled right now). Will not the great length affect the function of the variflow? For some reason, holtzman has not specified the maximum length of the carb vent tube/line from the fitting to the variflow. How did you install this, through the airbox or around it? I believe you could save a couple of inches if you routed it through the airbox
I guess I don't have to move the powervalve servo motor, because I see that the carb vent tube can just go above it and directly to the variflow. The outlet tube seems easy to fit in there too.
thanks again
