The Phazer II came out in 1990 and I beleive they used the same parts all the way through 1996 or 1998 on both the Phazer II and the Venture. Double check with a dealer but you should be good.
As a result, the difference woudl be noticeable between pre-1990 Phazers and after.

the shaft dimension and the splines are the same, the problem is that the Phazer clutch is smaller diameter, as well as it is set up for a 1 1/4" belt and I believe yours is 1 3/8"

Do you need a primary or secondary? What is the problem with it?

The probleme is that the primary is one of a 1990 phaser2(i think) and the secondary a 1994 venture(the snowmobile is a 1994). I had to put a 1990 belt(89x) because if i put a 1994 belt(87x) when i start the engine the snowmobile go away.Very bad performance.I want to know if i put an older secondary it will fit.

Now you make more sense. Yes, if you have the old style primary, put the 1990 secondary on it and use the 1990 belt and it will work fine, look to see what helix is in your 94' it will probably be flatter than the one in your 90' clutch. You can install the 94 helix in the 90 clutch as well as the spring. You will have to put a couple shims between the helix retaining clip and the helix to push it in further. Put 2 or 3 belt shims back there and it will work. The 94 helix is machined .100 deeper back there for the wider belt.

Instead of modifying and installing an older secondary, it seems you would be better off with the original primary. If you do not have one for whatever reason, I would look for one. The newer style was an improved setup.

True, but if this is all he has it will work just fine
