wow! i got a set of powder pros and im installing them,im reading the directions and i come to the part where the carbide holds the ski on the sled,what,isnt this kinda of dangerous.ive ripped carbides off before while riding. it looks like all slp skis mount this way. what are some of your opinions on this. is it safe.
it would almost have to be safe or they would be out of business with Lae Suites.

I have a set of SLP SLT's and the one thing I don't like about them is the fact that the wear bar posts hold the saddle also. I think they did this to save weight. I haven't broke one but, my cousin did, it didn't cause any danger but ski was wobbly. We got lucky and found a guy just off the trail that was able to weld the post back on. I feel it is a bad design, but love the performance of the ski.
