Hello!
Iam going to change belt from 307x38x38mm to 345x38x38/44mm
The drivers are stock, do i need 9/8/7 tooth drivers to make a belt with 38mm or 44mm fit?

if you can convert that to inches, someone can probablly tell you. Maxdlx
307x38x38=121x15x1.5", 345x38x38/45=136x15x1.5/1.75".

Yeah, sorry for that. In Norway we're used to use millimeters, didnt think about it.
Thank you Heimdall.

if you want to go with a inch and a quarter lug height you can stick with 9 tooth drivers any higher you have to go with 8 tooth

if you remove the tunnel and heat exchanger protectors you can go bigger and keep the 9 tooth drivers! 1.5" for sure and 1.75" maybe. someone will know!xt700 said:if you want to go with a inch and a quarter lug height you can stick with 9 tooth drivers any higher you have to go with 8 tooth

I have seen the 1.75/44mm with the stock 9 tooth drivers, but it is tight. I would also say that going with 8 tooth drivers on anything over 1.5/38mm is your better option as there is very little room for snow to clear the exchanger up front.

Ok, thanks guys!
If I find out that Ill go for the 1,75" and 8 tooth drivers, do I have to change gearing and clutch set-up? Will the speedo show right speed?
By the way, does MM have 8 tooth drivers?

MM's in the US are 8's If you have a short track and are going to 136, for the most part the stock gearing is fine, but riding style and altitude will be the determining factor.
