I'm thinking of trading my viper for a phazer fx next winter. Did anyone try it yet, how does it handle? I heard there was a turbo kit for the phazer and its 150 hp and the sleds weight with the turbo kit , a full tank of gas and full of oil is 530 lbs. Is this true? Do anyone know how much the fox floats cost (canadian)?

The phazer fx rides awesome and is one of the funnest trail mogul machines I ever drove.You won't need fox floats on that machine.As far as power it's very similar to the old phazer 2stroke except a different feel because it's a 4stroke.

I rode a Phazer this past spring. Its nice, but its very different. Id suggest trying one out before you buy one.
It doesnt sound at all like a snowmobile, it sounds much more like a dirtbike (not a surprise considering it's engine is basically 2 dirtbike motors put together).
It also rides and handles very differently from a traditional sled. If you are a bigger person you might not like it. A couple of my friends went with me and tried out Phazers and they didnt care for them because they said they felt too big on them.
