OK here is the deal.

My weight was 240 at my last ride, now I'm down to 185!

Should I feel a difference in speed with the sled this coming up season?

I heard if you take off 6-8 pounds that equals 1 horsepower gained, is this true?

It'll DEFINITELY feel faster. Losing 65lbs is a huge accomplishment (both for you, and for your sled). You're going to love the ride first time out!

Yup!!! Definitly feel a Faster Gain, Loosing Weight On and Off the sled is a big accomplishment! Good job. Question for yea. Every see Big Racers? Helll no! hahhaha

you should feel a larger gain on top end rather than bottom end. It's all about power to weight ratio

You are right, 7 lbs is equal to 1 HP - you should feel like you gained 7-8 HP on your sled! - good job! - tell me how you did it, I need to loose a few LB's!!

Congratulation!!!...Sounds like yer gunna be a happy camper on or off your
sled this winter...good for you..thats Awesome!!!

I just watched what I ate and took daily walks, at the start just one mile and now about 2 miles in 27 minutes. Did some lite lifting with free weights, 3 times a week. Now I need to maintain tell the snow comes. Not the most fun but should be wearth it in the long run. Can't what to go sledding this year ;)!

Thanks alot everyone!
