I posted the following a couple weeks ago in the general area but decided to move it here.
I'm wondering if a twice(or however often) a year contest could be set up to get TY some more tech article's? Set it up with a top 3 prize structure (would have to be good enough to motivate writers), articles to be posted in a contest thread by a certain time and the Mods and Tom would get to pick the winners. The tech section here is great and more articles would just make it better. It would be different from the Trivia thing. Sponsors could supply prizes. I realize this may take something away from the January TY ride table but it may boost the site, knowledge wise.
Just a thought, and it doesn't mean I have an article I want to write, I did mine already this season.

Any progress on this idea??? I'm really just posting this new reply to make sure you didn't forget about it, seeing as it looked like you liked it. 
I am still waiting on Trivia prizes and stuff...so we will have to hold tight.
