Mine is very stiff. I notice there is a screw ontop and below.I think one maybe a drain or bleeder not sure.
My question is to turn the knob on or off do you simply turn it or do you have to remove a screw top one or bottom one?

The valve will move more freely when cool, ...once the engine warms up turning will be next to impossible without a rag and channel locks. Before cranking up your machine decide wether or not you need heated carbs and adjust accordingly.

Mine is also very stiff or hard to turn but it's always been like that,but i usually have it on all of the time anyway

I run mine on all the time couldn't tell you if it hard to turn or not

I turned mine off and disconnected all the hoses to the carbs. The only sled I had carb freezing problems with were the old Phazer and the only thing would happen is the choke would freeze open in the morning. Nothing a little ISO didn't fix.Hot carbs hinder power........SRXtreme
