I am going to install a SRX or whatever style Yamaha will sell me rear heat exchanger on my viper. Do I have to worry about my stids clearing the heat exchanger, or does anyone know for sure what stud length will work with the rear heat exchanger?
Thanks

studs will hit this quite often if you do alot of tail landings
put one on
if you run big wheels on your skid it is even more important.

part # 8EK-RHECR-KT-00
This is part number for the rear kit I just ordered cost $53.00. My sled is the 03 Viper ER.

Yeah...watch the stud hitting the exchange issue...I put a rear exchange on last year and let my dad give it a whirl...I wasn't there...and when I arrive he said he gave his buddy a ride on it(2up seat)...needless to say I checked underneath and it was narled up pretty good on the one side...didn't poke through thank god...Protecters are on my list this year...
