Carb Flange ID Help??? What are these for??

Going thru my recent purchase, was a box of misc motor parts from the two srx's i just picked up, I found these two off set carb flanges(I think). Can any body clue me in on what these actually are? What they go to?? It looks as if they are used to set the carb down lower.
