That time of the year again...thank God! I need a clutch set up for a 98 XTC 700. Sled is bone stock but will have the head mod done, reed spacers, and reeds. This will be with the stock exhaust also. Looking for agressive trail set up. I looked through the tech pages and the only one listed is for an XTC with SLP pipes. Need one for stock pipes. Thanks in advance.

try the sxr set ups for similar displacement motor. i think they are the same sled exc for some minor differences. duh sx too.

Go with an 8ca set up. I use this in my 01 SXR 7 you loose a touch on top but I can smoke just about anything 0 to 80 !

Your right Toddster, I used the 8CA's in my 97 SX7 . what a difference play with the rivets & tune it to 7,200 RPM (7,500 ON THE TACH - they were usually 2/300 off) if I remember right.May even have a set lying around if your interested complete with weights. although you could probably use a heavy hitter kit to do the same or better results. the key is to get the rpm down , most stock yammi's way overrev past the powerband. then you worry about traction......
