Anyone catch the Assen TT?

What a race! Edwards an American on Yamaha lead for most of the race only to fall into second late. On the last lap 2/3rds through the lap he made a ballsy pass on Hayden and was back in first. That is until the last chicane where he lost it and bit the dirt with the finish line in sight! He still finished 13th out of 17

Rossi made a game showing as well. After crashing in qualifying and injuring his arm and wrist and visibly in pain he started in 17th and worked his way to an 8th finish. Great Job playing hurt.

Great race! That was really good riding from Hayden and Edwards.

I feel really bad for Colin, what a race he did! He deserved that victory. Great race by Rossi also, being injured by managed to finished 8th. My money on this years champ is still on the doctor.

Colin deserved that win, Hayden punting him off on the second last lap, I had the live timing up, and he was 1.2 second back going into the final lap, dropped the hammer and caught hayden by the opening of the 3rd split (4 splits total with the new assen layout) so basicly he caught up a 1.2 second gap in half a lap. Then a patented Edwards "water thru a screen door" pass, only to have it all come undone at the end. It really reminded me of Assen 1992 actually, same thing only it was Rainey and Schwantz, not Edwards and Hayden.

I hope Hayden doesn't win the championship, couple reasons. 1) he's to much of a cruiser, would sure suck to win the championship and have only half the wins of some of the other riders.
2) I don't like him, he's to flat a personality. Seems like everytime he gets interviewed it's just an opportunity for him to randomly spew sponsor names. "how was the race nick?" "Honda.... Michelin... Red Bull...... Honda..... HRC.... thanks to my team."

the shock of the race for me tho was Nakano. was a great rider in the 250's, but never seemed to quite be there on the big bike. was a classic Nakano cruiser race tho. Was very similar to how he rode in the 250's, get a decent start and just hang in there, follow the lead pack and hope attrition takes it's toll.
