A friend of mine has a 2001 YZ426 bike and he was wondering if there is a way to covert it to automatic decompression like the newer YZ450's. I figured there has to be someone on this site that would know.

tommy, have him check over on www.thumpertalk.com they have a yz and wr forum lots of knowledgeble folks there just like here. need to get him to throw some 17" wheels and sportbike tires and come ride supermoto with us. have him check out supermotojunkie.com and www.misupermoto.com as well. good luck. i love my 03 yzf 450 dunlop slicks and all. ski

He needs the exhaust cam to make the automatic decomp work. Not sure if one out of a 450 would fit his bike though.
Theres also a supermoto race at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI and another up by Green Bay.
