Does anyone know what automotive part # I need (ie 1157) for the tail lights on a Viper?

I am pretty sure it is 2 1157 bulbs. after reading that a little bit, I realize that maybe mine look dimmer than the stock ones since I have clear led's rather than red ones. anyone know if there is any truth to that, that the red leds look brighter through a red lens than the white/clesr leds???
that myth is true. i have led lights in all positions on my truck. i tried the clear ones behind the orange marker lights and couldnt see them through the lens. the orange bulb's (peanut) do show through better. i do know for the dash bulbs the clear ones are the best. tried some blue ones in my motorcycle spedo and i couldnt see the needle in the dark. with the clear ones in there they light up as bright as the stock peanut bulbs.
