Hey guys I've been looking around and havent found what I REALLY want to know.

My question is when I flip the shock brackets on the SRX all I do is....Take them off.... flip them upside down and install on the oppostie side of the machine?

What all do I need to do to get to them?
Do I have to take the pans off?

Also how much more height will this roughly give me?

Sorry for all the questions, but I'm getting ready to pull the beast out and start tinkering. ;)!

You can get them off without removing anything, just the shock bolt. I would guess the flip would give somewhere between 1.5-2". I must add, I have not done this flip, I bought drop mounts for mine, so I can't comment on whether it's a straight R&R, but I think it would be.

Hey don't apoligize for asking a question. Some of us live for your questions. That is really what a forum is all about, so you can ask someone who has already done it! Sorry! don't know anything about your question!

Ok I think i got it on and good to go, with some simple grinding of the brackets themselves to allow the shock body to clear them.......Before i started my front bumper was at about 15 1/4" now after im finished its at almost a dead even 18"

Way worth the hour it took. Now I can't wait to ride it!

increased ride height. its good if the back end was upgraded and/or you don't like facefulls of snow
