DUDE, IT COMES DOWN TOO WHAT SLED IS SET-UP STRONGER !!! I RACED MANY PIPED VIPERS WITH BOTH MY SRX,s !! ONE I RACED RAN SAME MPH AS ME ON RADER. PIPED VIPERS ARE VERY FAST!!! I KNOW YOU WANTED POST BUT THIS IS WHAT I HAVE SEEN!! 3:16 (tony)

Well clutched srx not a clutched but really tuned in will take a piped viper tuned in.

pro, u must have one fast srx!!
have not seen that over here.

srx

It was against pat haucks buddy pat was tuning it himself. We where racing all day 1000ft .There was a couple hauck and cpr piped vipers.Pat's srx was beating me by a sled legnth but he had bored carbs and reeds. My buddy had a 01 srx with stage 2 porting and bored carbs vforce reeds and pat clutched it himself and we where trading wins every other time.My buddy with the ported srx threw my cluthes on and his came to life he gained 7 mph in 1000ft.I'm talking about a properly set up srx Tyler not just a throw in kit,lol

YEA, Yea, yea....Can tell you this, if your running the simmons pipes and clutch kit (hitters) in the viper, properly jetted, it's even steven with a well tuned SRX. The higher viper gearing evens out the top speed cause the pipes run @9100 rpm. Take out the stock 47 degree helix and run a 51-45 and it's probably gonna be the viper, still close. The horsepower is so close on these models it really comes down to who knows their sled the best.
