SOME SWEAR BY CLICKERS HERE, NOT ME 8BU-00 WEIGHTS, 20/40 GEARING (500 f.t.) 21/40 FOR 660 !! THIS IS ON MY STOCK 2000, YOU MAY NEED TOO FINE TUNE ALITTLE. 51/43 HELIX @ 80 DEGREE WITH GREEN COLOR CODE SPRING. PRIMARY SPRING, I WOULD LOVE TOO SEE YA RUN MAXXIUM WHITE BUT TRY HAUCK ORANGE. THEIR MAY BE FASTER SET-UPS, BUT THIS GETS YA RUN AFTER RUN WITH REAL STRONG PULL. 3:16 (tony)

Tonys set up will run decent for backyard drags, you cant simply out do a set of h/c for drag racing ET wise, with 8bu's you just cant hang on to the belt like the h/c's do, if you want to just throw in a set up, run tony's it will run respectable, will out do most any other backyard sled in 500ft with 8bu's. If you are looking for the lowest ET possible then use h/c, but you will have to be able to tune the clutch's to take advantage of them.
I guess what I am trying, no offense intended, if your some what lazy and are not gonna put in testing time and keep good notes, use the 8bu's, its a bolt in run what ya brung kinda thing, pretty much tried and true and respectable outcome. If you have time and patience and are gonna tune, and want the fastest set up possible, then run h/c's.
8bu-00 weights, with a 4.5 rivet in tip only, leave middle hole empty, white maxx primary if you can still find one, this spring is 60/135, use either a 51/43 helix with green spring or a 50/40 helix with green spring, you will have to play with the twist setting fotr your weight and amount of traction your getting, most are around 80 degrees in the grass.tight, tight belt deflection.
40-10 h/c's, red primary spring, 50/40 helix or a 48/36, green secondary
