SRX gauges question??

I bought a set of used gauges from a '98 Srx to put on my '98 XTC. I thought that the harness ends were the same on them but they aren't even close. I know that some people on here have upgraded their "old style" gauges to the newer "srx style".

Just wondering if there was any easy way to make it work or if I had to buy the short srx harness that runs up the inside of cowl to the gauges.

Any help would be appreciated. ;)!

Thanks!

I don't have an answer for you. but I do have a set of gauges with only 7 or 800 miles on them, that will work perfect on your sled. $45 shipped. Paul

I already have the SRX gauges, I just want to know how to hook them up to the old style harness. My guess is I'll need that short whip that runs up the hood from like a '99 SX or newer SXR.

I figured out that I need the short harness that goes from the main harness up the inside of the hood to the gauges from an SRX or newer SX w/ the bigger gauges. Part #: 8DF-84359-00-00. I tested it today w/ a whip from '98 SRX and worked good.

If anybody has one of these they want to get rid of, please let me know.

Thanks,
Brooks
