Here is a web site that will help you meet some riders and get to know the area.

I've already got plans of longtracking the Poo to a 144". If and when I move out west I will probably ride the Poo for a little while, but I would like to get an Apex Mountain or an M7/M8.

Go to the sled city web site. They have a list of clubs including one in the Spings by Fort Carson. They will know the best and closeest areas. I'm not much help, I ride up north of I-70 highway mainly. I do know that it is not far to several areas from Fort Carson. The same site will give you a list of some of the better known areas, way too many places to unload and ride to learn about in 2 or three years. I've been riding Colorado for 15 and still find new places I have not riden before.

There is a pretty big group of Colorado Riders over on SnoWest. Go to Snow Conditions and Riding Areas and search Colorado. My group pretty much rides every other weekend up at Rabbit Ears Pass. Always someone riding.

IF YOU ALL MOVE TO CO. AND PLAN TO RIDE THE EARS LET ME KNOW!!! Thats one of my farvorite places and your going to be so close to Steamboat Springs that we could turn you on to the really extreme areas up there, but they require spending the night in Steamboat (big$$$) and that is pricey.
