I'm going to be extending my Viper to a 136" from a 121"....I have heard that I will need to change the ski's.....to keep sled from pushing.

Do you guys who have extended your Viper's have Any recomendations??????

Is the 136" gunna be studded?...I'd just figure that you'd add an extra few inches on your carbides to compensate or a deeper keel...The last posting talked about various ski's the guys liked...but I'm thinking a 136" would obviously be better for powder and if you're goin in that direction...Simmons...but if your looking for a comfy ride...or a better holeshot...they all would work good...Shaper bars, dual carbides, skegs(I forget the name)...
But I'm very curious to hear how your machine rides with the 136"...I wanna convert mine down the road but its a lil $ at the moment...

8 or 9.5 inch sharper bars, or the bergstrom tripple carbides on your stock ski's will work. Otherwise I say the new style saddless Yamaha skis are great. Maxdlx
