I found it locally for around 10 bucks a gallon and thought it would be great to save some money with all expences to live going up so much.Supposedely has JASO FC rating and is semi-synthetic, if you people have any experience with it I'd apprecaite hearing about it, thanks , Josh

Did it seem to burn clean with low odor?I have been spoiled with some of the high end oils probably, but may still give it a shot.

Id be worried about any oil that claims to work both in snowmobiles and in outboard boat motors. Those 2 engines have vastly different oil needs.

I believe its snowmobiles and personal watercraft that this oil is marketed towards with citgo offering a seperate outboard oil, thanks for your input on this matter guys.
i would be concerned that venesualas leader is crazy, is about one step away from a terrorist tward the us and when you buy citgo anything your money is going to that countries goverment. buy mobile/exxon, they are an american company, or at least irving oil, last i knew atleast canada wasnt trying to undermine us.

I have heard that it is the same oil as Yamalube 2S, just a different color additive. After hearing this, I went and bought a gallon. It is the same gallon bottle, and the back label is almost exact as the Yamalube. Being in the bottle industry, I have met some people in the lubricant oil blending and filling business. While 2-stroke oils are different than motor oils, the players are the same with the exception of some of the specialty brands. As far as motor oil, you would be suprised at how many different brands come from the same tank and just go into different bottles. After digesting all of this information, we have run the Citgo in our sleds for two years now. My wifes XC800 powervalves look the same as they did when she was paying $40 per gallon for Polaris gold. My SXr has no valves, so no info. on that one. If i was a bettin man, I would wager the Citgo is indeed the same oil as the Yamilube.
