alright so i set my viper all up for 500 ft 20/39 gearing, 151 jets neeldes in the #4 position. I'm running on about 300 ft of my back yard so its not very good but when i rev the sled up to about 4 grand before take off and then open the throttle up its got a pretty nasty bog, sometimes it will only bog for a second and take off but I just put 192 brand new chiseil tooths so the traction is very good. I removed 3 washers from the secondary clutch and that may have made it worse not sure..i've got a 51/45 helix wound at 80 degrees..I believe its the stock spring. Could the spring be no good?should I try to tighten it up more?thanks

ok so I ditched the secondary spring black with red mark on it, and put my buddies spring in out of his sx. The spring that he had was all black with a green mark..I took and wound that at 80 degrees and it seemed alittle better but still wasn't getting into the powerband quick enough.anyone have any ideas?

are your needle clips in the carbs on the very bottom clip position?

i think that may be a little shallow helix angle

main jetting may be a lttle fat i ran 135's in the summer in my srx for 500 feet

They are set on the #4 position, they can go one more step down i believe. MTnviper said he runs his in the 4 position with good luck, says it will help with the lean bog. The sled has alot of traction but still should be able to pull the rpms up quick. i'm not sure what the problem is but someomne will know hah

Try larger pilot jets or turning out the fuel screws. Sounds like a lean low end bog.
