I have a 02 viper with the stock track and a new one is not going to happen this year. I am looking for some hook up tips for this thing. What I have done is 144 1.175 mega bites, aftermarket transfer rods, hyfax wheel kit, clutch kit Hc originals with helix. As far as suspension I let the front limiters out to max side, put alot of front shock preload. FRA set at middle ,rear shock havet touched ,and transfers equal top and bottom when sitting on sled. Cant get this thing to not spin on ice out of the whole. After 20 feet of spinniing it will hook up hard. I have tried the transfer rods all the way up. I am running 144 in center and outside. Thinking of adding more studs to 168. What do you guys think? Am I missing something? This would be for the lake runs with the challenges of friends. And occasional radar runs.

start to reduce rear shock preload while letting out the front limiter straps, this will plant more of the track on the ground on take off, you will have to find a happy medium you can live with because if they are out too far, you wont be very happy trail ridng as it will want to wheelie all the time when you goose it, makes for some tough steering when the skis are off the ground. By doing this and setting the gap on the trnasfer rods, the sled will then hook out of the hole, but with h/c clutching, I would suggest you have at least 168 studs in it.
