I have some questions for you guys.
Can you still drag race the GPX's against the newer sleds of today? or has time caught up with them? How about a Sno-Twister?
I have a line on a 75 433, but it doesn't have an engine. What is it going to cost me just to get a running motor in the sled.
Thanks

a stock GPX will have to be set up real well to compete against any newer sled. they were light, had decent power and a low cg.
a well set up mod gpx will run against any newer 440 in a short drag. a well setup GPX will run against a free air snowtwister ('74 and '75) no prob but it will not compete with the '76 liquid cooled snowtwister.

You can race the old stuff with the new stuff in MSDRS, if you can make weight.
