Something let go in my 02 Viper Clutch, a piece of metal, looked like some sort of collar, got wedged between the belt and the primary, then moved to the secondary and gouged both of them pretty badly. I think I need to replace both of the clutches. Anyone want to part with them? Also any idea of where that piece of metal came from?
Thank you,

do your self a favor and contact Hartman inc.he has a sweet set up using polaris clutch's on yamaha's. that stupid little sleave cost me a small fortune when it let loose on my wifes sx r. But if have to have a yamaha clutch i have one from a 02 viper with a heel clicker ste for $275. I run a polaris primary w/ a team secondary on my long tracked viper .wow what a difference

the viper clutch isn't any different than an srx, sxr, rx1, etc. I have run polaris primaries on my yamahas before as well. While they do perform quite well, they simply DO NOT last as well as the YXR's. Bushing, pin, and weight maintenance is a lot worse with the P85
