Im Sorry but am I the only dude not happy that Yamaha didnt step up to the plate and take care of us as customers and warranty their defective hand warmer bars? They led most of us to believe all season they were working on a resolution and would take care of it. I even knew about the problem and was assured by the Midwest Yamaha Rep it would be taken care of before I purchased my sled. Now everyone is dishing out coin for parts and labor for a new item that Yamaha specifically has listed as HEATED hand warmers in our manuals that does not work unless you are in 32 F on a sunny day watching the snow melt. It's not about the coin as much as the princable of the whole thing. They did the same thing when they missed the boat on the viper shocks. Everyone complained, they revalved and sold them to us instead of taking care of us completely. They make a great running sled but shame on them for attempting to pass the warranty buck back to the consumer for a handwarming feature that normally from Yamaha is second to none!

the warmers do work, just not perfectly. would you rather have a different brand sled and blow a motor? pay the $30 and get over it.

Ever ride with gauntlets? Gauntlets, MX glove (yeah, the thin ones) and I had the heaters on low to keep from burning my hands.
And there were a lot of those Viper owners that got to keep their old shocks... in other words, they paid $189 for a brand new set of 4 shocks and then could sell their old ones on e-bay for $300+...
Am I happy the grips don't work the best and I have to spend $30... No. But I am happy that I don't have to just live with them the way they are...
