Can anyone tell me if the new Apex mountain skis will fit or can be made to fit a 2001 Mountain Max and what might be involved?? How do these new skis compare with the stock skis the MM came with??

They will bolt right on. You just need the bolt from the apex since it is longer. You can use the stock rubber.
They will make a world of difference. Tons more float, they hold a sidehill WAAAY better, less pushing in the corners, good on the trails. Easy upgrade and very worth it.
