Anyone one on here import a sled trailer into Canada from the US?
I'm looking for information on if I have to leave the trailer at the border for three days? and what else if envolved. Do I need to fax the border the paperwork before hand?

I don't know for sure but I think since you are just importing a trailer you do not have to fax the title 72 hours in advance. Probably worth calling US customs to be sure.

Trailer must have vin number and manufacturers weight sticker on it, if it is not there you will have problems. Forget homemade ones.

Same deal as importing a sled or motorized vehicle. Riv fee; both taxes; recall letter from manufacterer & Canadian tire safety.

vin number must have 16 or 17 characters or numbers. Like Turk said, contact the registrar of imported vehicles.
