well just need some input. stock is 40. i just put a 39 tooth gear in. my question is how high or low can i go on the teeth without haveing to change chains. im thinking im going to want to gear up to 41. how high and low can i go. 38 to 42? thanks.
the reason i want to gear up is becuase i dont think i will be able to hook up with the 39. everyone says gear down. but here are my engine mods.

I run a 22 40 for 660' on ice and 20 40 500' grass it seem to work for me and i have about the same done to my 700 sx as you!!!

I am going 20 40 stock pipes stock reeds 43 35 helix have to wait & see how it does!
