Hauck Orange/Maxx Perf.

Wondering if a Hauck orange with 2-3 shims will be as good as a maxx perf. (white)? looking to get my engagment up around 5-5000 will this do it?Thanks

DUDE, I USE BOTH IN BOTH MY VMAX 800,s AND BOTH MY SRX,s. !! THE MAXX WHITE WORKS AWSOME. NOW RIGHT OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD, THE HAUCK ORANGE HAS ALITTLE MORE PRE-LOAD THAN THE MAXX WHITE. I THINK THE TOTAL FORCE WAS VERY CLOSE. THE MAXX WHITE WITH 2 SHIMS IS 5300. THE HAUCK ORANGE WITH 1 I BELIEVE WAS 5500. THREE SHIMS IS IFFY. I THINK MAXXIMUM HAD A BLACK THAT WAS SAME AS HAUCK ORANGE. 3:16 (tony)

Most of this depends on weights you using, if your stock look for a spring with the same total force but a higher preload somwhere on the 55 to 65kg range would be my guess and add shims from there to fine tune.
