if the viper is set up properly clutches and jetting with the pipes it should take a F-7
on the lake. piped viper competes very well with the F-7's

Id say you have a fair chance of beating an F7 on the lake.

I have owed both, infact currently ride a stock 2004 Viper S. Stock for stock I would not run an F7 in a 1/4 mile. But heading across a nice lake WOT, the triple shines!!!! no worries!!!

I know you'll be pulling about 12-15 HP over him in the mid range with the pipes. The only thing I done in regard to racing and F-7 is from a 30mph roll on a hard packed seasonal road. I pulled about 3-4 lenghts on him in about 200 feet. I was happy, but I know he would spank me off the line cuz I still have the stock track (192 studs, but aint cutting it). I found whoever I've raced (800cc+) they pull me a little off the line, but the trips catchup fast. The mid range is unbelievable!!!!
