Is there anything special you have to do to a new belt before you install it. I purchased the Ultimax 3 from Carlisle. Do you have to scrub it and wash it down first?

I always put on the belt so the words are facing you,not upside down.

a quick wash in warm water would not hurt.

I'd say one thing you need to do before you use the ultimax3 is get a good yami belt as a spare. They've never held up for anyware near as well as a 8dn on my baby srx.
