I was wondering if there are any major differences between the '00 and '01 SRXs. I owned an '01, loved the sled as far as the performance and having been kicking myself everyday since selling. I have been looking some and have found a few '00 around where I live. Just not sure if Yamaha did anything different on the '01s vs. the '00. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Im not sure if the suspension was changed between the 00 and the 01. I know they moved the location of the transfer rods on one of those years i want to say it was the 01 that got that change.
As Pro said they changed the jetting, the suspension, and the electrical system. that is all i can think of....Oh and the silver looks 100x better then the blue LOL

the jetting spec is different, the '00 is a little on the lean side for colder conditions, but the electrical systems are the same, the '00 was the first year with the 300 watt system with the dual bulb headlight. Both have the updated transfer rod location. Otherwise the only change is the color and the dual hand/thumb warmer controls, and lighter brake rotor on the '01.
