I am thinking of triple piping my Viper S. I do like how quiet it is for a 2-stroke. Anyway of keeping it fairly quiet and triple pipe? Any reliablity issues?

Just cooling issues which can be simply fixed by doing the following:
rear heat exchanger
SRX base gasket
opti-cool head gasket
Make sure you re-jet correctly. Ive also heard on the Viper S sleds that some pipes will set off the DCS. Im not sure if anybody came up with a solution for that

I believe the Viper S already has the rear heat exchanger.

If you do piped it get ready to pay for gas. I bought a package with everything I needed basically. Then come to find out I'll only get 7 to 10mpg at best. If I knew that ahead of time I prolly would have just put a down payment on a new 4stroke sled but oooo well. As long as gas stays around what it is compared to $3.20 a gallon last year. It'll be a blast no matter what, cause it will be a whole new sled compared to last years stock motor. But a 4 stroke will be in my future prolly Phaxer FX or Nytro. Just my .02.

i would expect the same or maybe paying less this winter.

Is the rear heat exchanger on the opposite side of the snowflap?if so the previous owner must have installed the exchanger right?
