hey just wondering what other people have dun for clutching on their 700's
my last sled (95 mach z 780) i had it ingauge at 5800rpm and it pulled right up till 9700rpm and i loved it who can i make my srx do the same :2strokes:

you dont want to run an SRX at 9700 on a stock motor.
There are plenty of clutch set ups on the tech page or do a search for srx clutching and you will find dozens of combinations.

700 srx

clutch for 8500
can be done with excellent results by installing:
4.5 gram rivots in stock swing weights,
WWW primary spring for slight higher engagment (4200?)
red secondary spring wound to 70 deg
with a 51/43 helix ( stock off RX1)

i did this last year ( per Turk's and other's recommendations) and went from begin beat by an 800HO skidoo to smoking him.

playing with the secondary windup by 10 degress ( 70 vs 80 vs 60) let me dial in to the 8500 at top end.
I could tell a big difference in mid range pull from the added rivot weight. ( shifts faster, but the engine has the power to keep up)

I weight 185 without gear.

600 woudl bes a different setup
hope this helps
