I see in the tech page it says 142.5 main jets with mods listed in that section.Is this ok for a stock engine without the mods and maybe just some clutching work?Also are the needles good in the stock position? I have not heard any talk about those and what temp and altitude range are those mains good for?Some help on this carb tuning would be appreciated.
It is very OK & recommended to run that jetting especially in a stock motor. You would not want to ride in as cold as weather as that jetting is good for.

Cool, just the kind of input that I was looking for.Will that jetting clean up the plugs? I have never fouled any plugs, but they always look dark even in cold weather with some long runs.I am going to do the jetting and the clutch stuff- rx-1 helix and 4.5 gram rivets in the inner holes as you suggested last winter, should be a nice improvement.Also is there any other clutch tuning I am gonna need to do with those changes or is it pretty much bolt it in and go?I have a wanted add for the helix in the classifieds, thanks for letting me pick your brain Turk, its much appreciated, Josh
