what do you guys use on your black finished pipes to keep them in good shape?

recently I have been using this stuff, it is good until 2000 degrees which is overkill but works great.

I have used High Heat Grey paint on mine.Looks better then black. I couldn't fine it in Blue,otherwise it would be Blue >>BLUE>>>BLUE>>>>>BLUE.

you can do any color of the rainbow. the same company that 2000srx uses makes them in colors. http://www.caswellplating.com/vht/vht_high.htm

I was thinking of just going to the local automotive store and picking up some...how many degrees does it have to be and is there several coats to apply so it doesn't peel?thanks

needs to be at least 1200, and make sure its not bake on type paint. Maxdlx
