170 hp??

I just ordered some bender triple pipes with racing silencers, rear heat exchanger, v force, helix, clutch kit and a cold ait kit for my viper..the dealer told me i would have 170 hp.
is this possible??

170HP, not quite. More like 150HP I'd say.

Not without a port job, and even then your only looking at 165-168hp with trail porting. Thats what I've been told by MRVIPER700.

i think that setup is about 156hp if i remember. if you add tmx 38 carbs, and some porting you can get closer (162 i think?!?!) make sure you get either the opticool head gasket or the srx gasket to help the cooling around the heads.

CPR big bore is only 165 hp with bored carbs and porting. Don't forget to reduce your compression with a head mod if your trail riding or that motor won't last long. I think you will have 148 hp. Don't be disappointed because if you have been riding it stock @ 120 hp just wait till the snow flies 148 will put a smile on your face.

Bender claims: 30Hp with pipes. With the mods, you could see a couple HP with the reeds, but what you'll really notice is improvement in throttle response. It's about the same set up I have right now. It is a dramtic improvement over stock. It should be reliable for you. Your goin to love it. just make sure you bleed the coolant properly and get the Opticool gasket and you should nit have any over heating issues. RUN QUALITY PREMIUM GAS!!!

there is a mm 700 with a 944 unionbay on snowest that only puts out 182 with pipes reeds and trail porting
