Stock viper running boards suck, with my new HMK boots I cant even keep my feet on while standing up. Any ideas????

sell the boots, wear your old ones! just kidding. But don't you hate it when you buy something new like that and then you have to buy something else new to get it to work the way you want it to.

Sombody had some viper traction brackets on here a few days ago.

I have Fett Brothers Perf. Surefoot IIIs. They come in natural and black. They cover almost your whole running board, and I havent had a problem with skippage at all. I'm sure they have them pictured on there site, if not Dennis Kirk has them pictured.

Rox!!

Have Rox Treads on my Viper. REALLY stiffened the tunnel and LOTS'A traction. I weigh 280 and pound pretty hard on the sled. There is about 9,000 miles on these treads and my only complaint is ..... can't get them for my new Attak AAAARGH!!

what about snow & ice build up on the rox?
riding in the deep you end up with lots of powder, dont want to have so much build up that I wouldn't be able to stand? Will the exchangers still melt it off?
On a side not my boards are bent down (exchanger also on left) can I just straighten them, then install the sled treds?

I have the ROX treads with the blue inserts and they GRIP. The snow does not build up for me in Michigan on trails. When I did go off trail the snow blew out or melted. Worth every penny. They stiffen the running boads.

Snow builds up a bit in powder conditions but does get turned into slush that can be kicked off easily enough and its not such a big problem that I would ever go away from the ROX they just flat out work.

These "snow-slips" (Yamaha part #) saved my azz several times last winter and work excellent for little cost.
