Hey everyone, I went to go do some financial papers today on that SRX i was looking at..then went to take a look outside and found a nice 2002 SXR 600 with 1,000ish miles on it...goin for $3500..I thought what the hell, why not. So now im payin for an extra year..but i think its gonna be worth it. How does this sled compare to the SRX? Ditchbanging/speed/powder/overall? Thanks guys :2strokes:

i have both 99 srx & 01 sxr 700,s the sxr has a beter ride gass milage is about the same but the srx is a lot faster

I was thinking instead of doing SRX and better suspension, why not do SXR and buy a set of triple pipes for next year? Can you do that to a SXR 600 with reverse?

A sxr 600 piped, might stay with a sxr 700. It will never touch a srx. If you put a 700 top end on it and pipe it, you might stay even with a bone stock srx. It is easier and cheaper to make a srx ride smooth, than to make a 600 sxr fast. lol Maxdlx

There are some good low to mid mile vipers on here for less money. pipe one of them, and now you are getting close to the srx. Maxdlx

are we comparing a 600 srx or a 700 srx. Maxdlx

Yeah, there may be some good deals online but i really dont want to deal with hidden problems, buying from halfway across the country and picking up something that far away. Im also not the biggest speed freak either guys, I think 100 mph (if thats what the SXR can do, or around there) is plenty fine for me..The 120 isn't going to put me in nirvana haha.

Okay, then go for the SXR, it will be an overall lighter sled, better suspension and better overall ditchbanger. I just assumed everyone was like me and wanted more speed! lol Sleds are never fast enough.

And if i feel the need for alittle more speed..the pipes and stuff could make the sled a little faster. I just like the idea of reverse, better suspension and ditchbangin ;)
