I am a new member of the site and I am overwhelmet with the info I have read in the last couple weeks. I am also a novice to snowmobiles in general. Last year I bought a 99 srx 600 at haydays. I am wondering about the clutch kit that has been installed and I am wondering if I can get more out of my setup. I have reed spacers, 192 studs, hauck silencer, transfer rods, and a bender power clutch kit with black spring with a green stripe and helix( I am not sur what the angle is). The primary has a red spring with spacers and 8dg-00 weights. I dont know what the rivets are. But the sled shifts out at about 8300-8400 rpm. I mainly drive trails so I would like to set it up for that. Any information would be highly appreciated!!!

8dg weights are from a 600 triple single pipe. If you are pulling those rpm,s that is perfect for that sled & spending more money won,t gain anything. i had a 98 & 99 600 srx. For a trail driven sled hitting target rpm,s is about 99% of the battle. Don,t throw more money into clutching.
