A buddy of mine is in need of a 2000-up SRX bottom end(both case's and crank) and a cylinder. Don't know why it did what it did - I told him to clean the carbs.-BUT he didn't. Don't know if that was the cause or not,because it was later in the year that it went down.(damage earlier in the year maybe?)

I don't know-but will any year cases-crank work for a 2000 SRX???-I know the cylinders are different-But???

you can use the earlier cases and crank as a pair,BUT, you have to weld some bosses on the recoil side of the case to accept the new style smaller flywheel, as the pick up coil is mounted closer to centerline because of the smaller flywheel. They also changed the pto crank bearings in so thats why you need to have the cases and crank as a pair.
98-99 600-700 srx cases all interchange
2000-02 srx and all vipers interchange
