Do they make blue headlight covers for a srx?

I was just wondering if they made blue headlight covers for the srx? I have a 2002. I have seen headlight covers for the viper but not the srx. Thanks

yeah i'm pretty sure my old 01 sxr is the same headlight style as your srx and I ordered mine through Sportech.

yep, they made headlight covers for all 4 styles. single bulb, dual bulb, and viper, and rx1 headlights in red, black, and blue.

Check the laws - they are not allowed in some states - I think Michigan is one of them

I have a blue one on my srx. Get one through shadetree, I did and they never sent me a bill LOL

yes they are illegal in michigan, i got stopped twice for having it so i stopped putting it on because the ticket sounded pretty high to me, dont remember how much it was though.

You may want to look in classifieds. Thought some had a blue cover off 01 srx for 10.00.

They are only illegal if it is the clear red or blue, because those are designated colors for law enforcement. You can however paint it solid and you'll be alright.

I bought one for my SRX and although it looks great on the sled, I run almost entirely in the U.P. and am sure that they are illegal there. I am thinking about saving myself the headache of getting pulled over and just going to a high-intensity blue halogen.

I am running both the blue headlight bulbs and the blue shield. I got pull iover once for my headlight sheild and nothing happened except they told me to take it off. Generally during the day mine is one but at night, I take it off because I cannot see a thing. The reason the DNR are so picky about the blue headlight cover, or what they told me was that they don't want to confuse people because there lights are blue and red aswell.

BTW, also found out that you can clean these up very well by taking them on a buffing wheel very gently. Mine was completely scratched up from putting it in my seat trunk at night and I took it out on the buffing wheel and it looks Brand new.

I have one on my sled too, and i can't see a thing at night with it!

Thanks for the tip on cleaning it up 2oooSRX... mine's all scuffed up from putting it in the back of the sled too.
