Suspension help: RX1 skid on Mountain Max

I'm replacing my 141 MM skid with a 151 RX1 skid. The distance between the front and rear mounts is longer on the 151 than on my 141. Has anyone done this? Does anyone have the measurements for the center mount and drop brackets? I have both the MM and RX1 drop brackets to choose from. Any help is appreciated.

I think all I need is the following:
Front mount to center mount.
Front mount to rear mount.
Top of tunnel down to rear mount.

Verify that the axle to front mount measurement, and the driver size is the same.

I don't have an RX1 to take measurments, but I assume it's the same. The forward half of pro-action suspensions are identical. The only difference is the 151 skid is extended about 5 inches between the front and rear mounts.

Here's what I've done: I put the front mount in the stock hole. Then moved the center axle to the point where the rear scissor was at about the stock angle. I then mounted the drop brackets to line up with the rear axle at my preferred riding angle. Now it seems to look ok, but there is only about 4 in. of travel. The control rods bottom out and the shock hardly compresses at all. Aside from taking measurements from an RX1, I have no idea what to do. Any help from here?

Hi,

Your mid. and rear axle is too far back. Other words your control rods are in wrong position.
My skid is another story but when i mod. it, i had also make those bars by shock 1.25inc longer. I also removed those rods..

Finally done. I got some measurements from clharris and made it work. I still think I will get the transfer enhancement kit from MPI to make the ride a little better. Thanks for all your help.
