I was wondering what would be the best way to get into grass draging and how i would set my sled up the rite way.my sled is already fairly modified, but i would like to know exatly what i need to get into grass draging....thanks

list your mods done and we can go from there, if your gonna grass race just backyard events its cheap, if your going to race pro circuit, you need lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$

I Have Bender Pipes A Clutch Kit V/f Reeds Some Other Small Things....but Im Just Starting Out So I Need To Know The Basics To Eventually Work Up To The Circut

to run the circuit you'll either have to get rid of the pipes, or run improved stock, and realistically a trail sled will not be competative in improved stock. You're probably best off sticking to backyard stuff for awhile anyways, but I figured I'd give you a heads up so you know what's on the horizon.

I would think that sled would be competative in Ameteur improved stock 7. You'll have fun and get a taste for the sport. If you want to run on the Pro side of things you'll need a different sled....but that's normal. The biggest cash outlay will be a speed track and studs. Check with your local race organization for the rules so you don't buy studs that you can't run and it'll give you an idea of what you need to do to the sled to get it to run.

Depending on how much you get to run and how big the class is you will have to consider cooling the sled. If you run one pass per day it's not a big deal but if it's going more you're going to need a cool-down cart.

It's ALOT of fun...and it makes you faster then the average guy.

IF YA WANT TO RACE PRO, HEAD OVER TOO THE CAT BOARDS AND GET A F-7. (sad but true ). DUDE, RUN TRAIL STOCK, WAY MORE FUN AND ALOT OF GUYS TOO RACE AGAINST. !!!!!!!!! AND YOU CAN DO WELL WITH A YAMAHA !!!! 3:16 (tony)
