ok here's the deal... I need hooks on the bars so I can corner like the madman I am without riping the left handle grip. I like the 45/90 hooks from Yamaha, I also love the Apex bars.
If I use the hooks from Yamaha the cheapest option, how do you finish the grip so it doesn't have that ridge at the end? Is there a different heated grip I can get that doesn't have the ridge on it? Can I use apex Grips? I can't afford to much $$ but I really am damaging the grip on there now and it needs a fix.
Any Ideas or imput would be helpfull thanks.

New aftermarket heaters + Scott grips.

the ridges on the ends are just rubber i used a razor blade and just shaved them down until they where flush with the hooks. then used a rat tail file and shaved the middles out so they would accept the hooks.

Do you have a link to the grips?
Are these heaters just the pad style that goes under the grip?
