I know this is the 2 stroke forum, i have a 06 apex and i have a darting problem and i see most yamahammer riders shim the ski's to take care of this. What the heck is shimming, and how do you do it? THX ALL JB

Be sure to check your ski "toe in" as well, it is an often overlooked and simple fix to darting "IF" your dealer prep was off.YAMADOG said:

.5 inch is a lot of toe out, i always shoot for 1/8 inch toe out, 1/4 inch at the very most
use the bar method, and set it for 0. Faster with no toe. maxdlx
